Balliefurth Farm Shop has been working through the Covid-19 lockdown with support from the local community and by partnering with local businesses Nethy House, Nethybridge and Pro Fish, Aviemore.
The Farm Shop introduced reduced hours early on to meet local demand and thankfully opened back up to full opening hours a few weeks ago. With the demand for local delivery the team at Balliefurth Farm Shop collaborated with their neighbours Nethyhouse to share home deliveries throughout the village. With a mixture of fresh meat and freshly baked cakes being delivered to those self-isolating and maintaining social distancing throughout.
Within Aviemore, Balliefurth Farm Shop meat has been stocked at Pro Fish since the new year and we’ve partnered with them throughout to promote and stock each other’s products in both shop locations.
The local community have really supported us and for that we are very grateful having had the commercial orders for the business stop overnight the local community have remained loyal and we’ve grown our online shop delivery Balliefurth Farm meat across the UK.
The suppliers too have kept the farm shop stocked for the local community to ensure that everyone’s cupboards had the essentials from tinned tomatoes to flour and yeast.

The team have remained healthy and we’ve supported the local community with increased deliveries to all villages and our online store now has a click and collect facility enabled.’
Balliefurth Farm Shop continue to deliver throughout the area including Nethybridge, Boat of Garten, Aviemore, Carrbridge, Grantown on Spey and Cromdale on a weekly basis. With new products available with the news of tourism looking to open from the 15th July onwards self-catering grocery packs area available to order and Balliefurth Farm Shop will deliver ready for visitors arrival.
